CRICKET.

A meeting of all interested in “ye goode olde game” of cricket will be held in Perreau’s rooms at 7.30 o’clock this evening. Cricket in this district has been lagging for want of support for some years past, but it is hoped that a little virility will be infused into the game during the coming season. With the provision of a pitch on Easton Park in the near future, there should be more inducement for those at all interested in this sport to lend their support wholeheartedly to the revival of the local cricket club.
