SERIOUS CHARGE.
ALLEGED ATTEMPTED MURDER.
Wellington, Sept. 2.
Benjamin Jones was charged at the Petone Magistrate’s Court with attempting to murder Constables Morrison and Harrison at Petone on 25th August. He pleaded not guilty, and was committed for trial. Bail was refused.
