ESTATE OP IT. G. HAMMOND.
The-statement of H. G. Hammond, farmer, of Oroua Downs, who has filed a petition in bankruptcy, shows that the total amount owing to unsecured creditors is £1,013 \ (is, and to secured creditors £35,707 17> Id, the value of the assets set against the latter amount being estimated at £27,455. The principal creditors secured by first, second or third mortgages are: — Arthur Hurst, Mana.warn, £0,213; G. F. Ranby, Waitoa, £5,915 18s; Bidwell Estate and another, Wellington, £4,000; Goodfellow and Hall, Hamilton, £3,500; M. Myers, Wellington, £2,500; Hunter Bros., Hamilton, £2,050: Bell and others, Wellington. £1,900; Mrs H. G. Hammond, Oroua Downs, £1,750; Simpson and Oliver, £1,000; Robinson and another, Feilding (Mr Graham), £1,500; Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., Palmerston N., £338 6s Id.
The principal unsecured creditors are: —Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Hamilton, £3BB 3s Id, Rhodes, Ross and Godbv, Christchurch, £220 18s Id; AV. Bemrosc, Mann warn, £12.3; Walter Turner,' Palmerston N., £147. A meeting of creditors is being held in Feilding to-day.
