MOUTOA ROAD DEVIATION.
LOAN CARRIED. A poll of the ratepayers of the Shannon Road Special Rating Distinct upon the proposal to raise a loan of £1,200 for the construction of road and 1 protective stop-bank at Moutowas held yesterday and carried " without opposition. The polling was as folloAA's : —Foxton booth, 23 for, against nil; Marotiri booth, 19 for, against nil.
