ROYAL PICTURES.
“The Forbidden Thing” at the Royal Theatre on Friday night is perhaps the mu.-t humanely interesting and absorbing photoplay of tire season. It is an Alla Dwan picture and the fine hand of the director is seep throughout its several reels of entertainment. Lighting effects are excellent, while the technical details, the atmosphere, type’s, and all that enters into the picture are virtually-perfect from every standpoint. Mystery, subtle and yet poignant in its denouement. holds / the attention throughout. The spiritual arrayed against the physical in the race for love. Extra: “Fantomas.” On Saturday “Nomads of the North,” that stirring tale of James Oliver Curwood’s is to be screened at usual prices.
