BIG MATCH TO-MORROW
After their good showing against Wanganui on Wednesday* Horowhenua may confidently be relied upon to put up a real good game with Wairarapa at Shannon tomorroAv, it has to he remembered that the Wairarapa team on tour is a very strong one, and will extend the loeal reps, in every department, so that there is every prospect of the contest being the best in which Hoi'OAvhenua has engaged in this season. Already great interest is being AA-orked up, and it is certain that there will be. a large crowd present to witness the game, not only from the Horowhenua district, Im’t from Palmerston and other places.
THE HOROWHENUA TEAM. The HoroAvhenua team to meet Wairarapa will be as follOAVs: — Full-back: Johnson (Hui Mai). Three-quarters: T. Moynihan (Shannon), Moses (Foxton), Wakefield (Weraroa). Five-eighths: T. Winiata (Wanderers), Porter (Hui Mai). Half: Jacob Utiku (Old Boys). Wing forward': Jacob (Wanderers ). Hookers: Bevan (Old Boys), Sands (Shannon). Lock: Tana (Hui Mai).
Break-a ways : R. Moynihan (Shannon) and Rangi Broughton (Weraroa). Back roAv: R. George and R. Robinson (Hui Mai). Emergencies : Forwards. —Ransfield and Koro; backs —Waka and N. Winiata.
If the team takes the field as selected, it should pro\ T e about the strongest that has represented HoroAvhenua this season. It is satisfactory to find Jacob and Porter among the team as their presence will add great strength to the attack.
