AVellington, August 17. As a result of the recent dispute about the reduction of wages of the men engaged on the Tutanekai, and the action of the Alarine Department in signing on a permanent crew, the ship has been declared “black” by the Seaman’s Union. The men have joined the a reduction on the old wage of»l per month and their action is strongly resented by the union.
