CRIMES ON THE RAND
MINER SENTENCED TO DEATH. CAPETOWN, Aug. 10. One miner was found guilty of murder and sentenced to death, and three wero convicted of homicide and sentenced to from two and a-half to three years’ hard labour in connection with the shooting of natives during the March disturbances on the Rand.—A. and N.Z. cable.
