OBITUARY.
MRS W. BOCK. It is with feelings of deep regret that we record the death of the wife of Mr Walter Bock, which took place at her residence, Lady's Mile, at 2.30 o’clock yesterday morning. The immediate cause of death was pneumonia which affected the heart. The late Mrs Bock had been an invalid for some considerable time and although not bedridden had been confined to her home for many months. Mrs Bock came to New Zealand, with her husband, from Tasmania about forty years ago and settled in the Wairarapa, living at Greytown and Featherston, where she was held in the highest esteem by a large circle of friends. About sixteen years ago she. accompanied her husband to Foxton where she continued to reside until her death. Although unable to get about, Mrs Bock took a keen interest in all matters concerning local institutions and was most generous in supporting all deserving objects and her kindly disposition attracted many friends to her home. She bore her sufferings' with patience and Christian fortitude and her passing will be keenly regretted by all who knew her. The interment will take place at Eerttilers ton, this afternoon, where she will be lmried hv the side of her only daughter, who predeceased her many years ago. In common with the Foxton public, we extend our heartfelt sympathy to the liusb:\nd and relatives.
