SUPER-TAX REDUCED.
NO REBATE FOR PROMPT PAYMENT. Wellington, Tuesday. The annual Land and Income Tax Bill was introduced in the House 10-day, Mr Massey stating that the only change is that super-tax is reduced from 33 1-3 per cent, to 20 per cent., with the object of removing it altogether next year. He * did not propose to renew the rebate of 10 per cent, for prompt payment of income-tax. '
