A meeting of the Foxton Association Football Club will be held in Mr Pefreau’s rooms on Monday at 7.30 o’clock. A full attendance of members, and intending members, is requested. The Manawatu County Council notifies by advertisement that a poll of ratepayers of the Shannon Road Special Rating District will be held on Wednesday, 23rd inst., upon the proposal to raise a loan of £1,200 for the .construction of road and protective stop-bank. Polling booth at the Manawatu Herald office, Foxton and Roadman’s cottage, Marotiri.
