HYDRO-ELECTRIC POWER BOARD.
LOAN PROPOSALS. A public meeting' to consider the Horowhenua Hydro-Electric Power Board's loan proposal of £260,000 for reticulating the district, will be held in the Town Hull, on Friday, 11th inst., at 8 p.m., and will be addressed by the Chairman of the Board, Mr 0. A. Monk, and the Board's Engineer, Mr T. R. Overton. All ratepayers are respectfully invited to attend. A meeting-will he held at Shannon on the oth inst.
