MANAWATU COUNTY COUNCIL 'N’OTICE is hereby given that it is (he intention of ; the Manawatu County Council to raise a loan under the “Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913,” and Amendments, such loan to he for a period of 3(>4 years, the interest to be at the Rate of -IT per cent, per annum for: — 1. Construction of road and protective stop-bank (being a deviation of portion of the Fox-ton-Shannon road). 2. The sum to be borrowed is £1.200. 3. As security for payment of Interest and Sinking Fund on such Loan it is proposed to levy a Special Rate of oneeighteenth of a penny in the £1 on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Shannon Road Special Rating District, such Special Rate to be an annual recurring rate for 301 years, or until the Loan is fully paid off. 4.
