My mother is so kind to me! Each night she takes me on her knee And as the wintry twilight pales Mum reads me lovely fairy-tales. And when I’m very, very good, She sings of “Sweet Red Riding Hood.” Then last of all and best, be sure, Mum gives me Woods’ Peppermint cure.
