ANOTHER CANDIDATE. Mr Arthur H. Vile informed us yesterday that he bad definitely decided to stand as a .candidate for the Manawatu seat at the forthcoming General Election as an Independent Liberal. Mr Vile has resigned his position as organiser of the Liberal-Labour Party. Mr Vile is a son of the late Mr Job Vile, a former representative of this district in the’ House. For many years Mr Vile was editor of the Wairarapa Age and recently became editor of the Manawatu Times. For ten years Mr Vile was a member of the Wellington Education Board and is in close touch with the political situation.
