LOYAL INDIA AND LE ROI
The well-known English and Continental entertainer, Mr Jean Le Roi,, opens his season of two nights commencing to-night at the Royal Theatre. As this is Le Roi’s farewell' tour of New Zealand before leaving to fulfil an important engagement with an English syndicate, every opportunity should be taken to witness the performance of this remarkable entertainer and his amazing programme of Eastern miracles. Le Roi does not content himself with the ordinary illusions of the orthodox stage illusionist, but goes into a realm that is entirely his own. For dexterity and quick and graceful manipulation he has never been excelled. M. Jean Le Roi, who has made a name also as a lecturer, will describe the mysteries of the East during the screening of the magnificent super-production “Royal India.” Mr George Titchener, the well-known entertainer and comedian, will assist Mr Le Roi at Friday’s performance. To-night, at 8; to-morrow matinee at 2.30, and at 8 p.m. Prices 1/1 and 2/1; matinee prices 1/1, children 6d.
