DORCAS SOCIETY.
The monthly meeting of the above was held yesterday. Present : Mesdames Ross (in the chair) Alsop, Barr, Pearson and McMurray. The secretary reported that five applications for assistance had been received during the month and helped. Thanks is due to the followingfor parcels of clothing,' boots, etc: —Barr and Tyer, F. Robinson, Walton, A. Ross, Renton, Barber sen. J. W. Robinson, Alsop, Stuckey, Wyllie and Bailey. The secretary was directed to thank “sympathiser” for a donation of 10/-, also Messrs Barr and Tyer for parcel of material.
