According to the official statistics 57 boys and girls under the age of 15 years of age committed suicide in Prussia in 1920. The statistics for 1919 gave suicides of 48 boys and eight girls. Wood for tennis rackets requires at least five years’ seasoning—that is to say, it is kept for five years in the rough timber state before being cut up for use. From London it is reported that the return for the sales of National Savings Certificates during- the week ended April 1, the last week of the issue for Savings Certificates at 15s 6d, show a total of 32,000,000 certificates sold.
