OBITUARY
MRS ANNIE REEVE, AGED 66
We regret to record the death of Mrs Annie Reeve, relict of the late Mr A. W. Reeve, who passed away at the Palmerston Hospital on Sunday night, at the age of 66 years. The deceased liad not been in good health since the death of her husband in January last and three weeks ago she entered the hospital. The immediate cause of death was pneumonia.
The late Mrs Reeve was bom at Howick Military settlement, Auckland, and was a daughter of the late Mr Daniel Keefe, of the 65th Regiment and Esther, daughter of the late Colonel Lynch. The late Mrs Reeves passed through many stirring times in the old days, particularly in the Hutt district during the Maori disturbances. For the past 40 years she has resided in this district. Deceased’s first husband was the late Mr James Dunn. She leaves a family of seven sons (Messrs E. Dunn, Gisborne; F. Dunn, Napier; A. E., J., and G. V. Dunn, and Stan Reeve, Foxt-on; P. Reeve, Stratford) and four daughters (Mesdames Mellroy, Feilding; Corbett, Gisborne; Simpson, Bulls and Miss Bell Reeves Foxton) and 27 grandchildren •to mourn thenloss. The funeral will take place to-morrow, leaving St. Mary’s C.hurch for the local Cemetery at 2 p.m. .
