FOXTON VOLUNTEER FIRE BRIGADE.
The monthly meeting of the above was held in Perreau’s Tea Rooms on Tuesday night, Supt. Hamer presiding over a good attendance. Messrs W. Rotter and A. Lockwood were elected members of the Brigade. An invitation was received from the Levin Eire Brigade to attend their social to be held on July sth. Decided to reply thanking them |or the invitation and stating that in all probability a party of .Foxton firemen will he present. Supt. Hamer gave notice of motion. to revise the Rules at the annual meeting, which was fixed for the last Tuesday in July. ..It was decided on the motion of Mr Nattrass, seconded by Deputy yS» McDermid, that the Secretary write to the Palmerston North, Wanganui, New Plymouth and Dannevirke Brigades, requesting a copy of their Brigade rules; and that these rules be posted lip in the Motor Co’s 2 Garage, together with the Brigade’s present'rules. Nominations for next year’s officers were held over to the annual • meeting. Accounts amounting to £3 10s were passed for payment.
