METHODIST CHURCH
WELCOME SOCIAL TO VISITING MINISTERS.
On Monday evening next, in the Methodist Sunday School Hall, a welcome social will be extended to the members of the Ministers’ Council. The Mayor (Mr John Chry<tall) will oc cuppy. the chair. Musical items will be contributed by local friends and Iso by several of the visiting ministers. All friends of the Church are cordially invited to he present. The ministers attending the Council will be: —Rev. C. H. Laws, President of Conference of X.Z. Conference of Churches, Rev A. Ashcroft, secretary of Conference: Rev. T. R. Richards, charman of District: Rev. A. (La wry; Centenary secretary: Rev. E. Cox. Gisborne; Rev. A. Mcßean, Hastings; Rev. W. Neal. Waipawy; Rev. Brads', Nurse wood; Rev. E. E. Sage, Daunevirke; Rev. P. J. Cossum, Woodville: Rev. Ashmore, Ashhurst; Rev. G. Cooke, Palmerston North; Rev. G. F. Stoekwell, Feilding: Rev. W. V ills, Sandon: Revs. Hamson and Haynes, Apiti and Haleombe; Rev. A. Harding, Pahiatna (formerly of Foxton) is unable to come. The ministers will assist in the Centenary Rallv to be held in the Methodist Church on Wednesday evening.
