MOTOR AND GIG COLLIDE AT SHANNON
FATAL RESULTS. Palmerston North, June 12. At. shannon on Saturday night, a motor-car and gig collided, and William Davidson, employed at Mangahao an occupant of the car, was struck by the shaft- of. the gig and seriously injured. H. Mclntosh, of Makerua, was severely cut by glass; both men were taken to the Palmerston North hospital. Later. William Davidson, who was injured in the collision at Shannon, died this afternoon.
