WEDDING

PETERSEN—BAUCKHAM. A wedding of local interest was celebrated at St. Andrew’s Church, Palmerston North, at noon yesterday by the Rev. Alex Doull, when Mr -Tack Petersen, of Aokautere, was ignited to Hettie, second daughter of Mr W. D. Bauekham, of Foxton. The bride, who was charmingly attired and wore the orthodox veil of orange blossoms, was given away by her father and was attended by her sisters, Lilian and Rohn, as bridesmaids. Mr Coxton officiated as groomsman. After the ceremony relatives and friends were entertained at breakfast at Boniface Bros.’ rooms, where the usual toasts were honoured and felicitous speeches made. The happy couple, were the recipients of numerous presents and cheques. Mr and Mrs Petersen left for the north, where the honeymoon is to he spent, after which they will take up their residence in Wellington.
