DAZZLING HEADLIGHTS

A GISBORNE CASE.

Gisborne, Wednesday

The difficult problem of motor lighting came before Mr- Barton, S.M., on Monday when the police proceeded against a motorist on a charge of driving a car with dazzling headlights. Mr Burnard, for the 'Motor Association, submitted that the lens used was the type that prevented dazzling by refracting the beam of light. V -It had been approved by the American police and the Wellington Council. This lens had passed the test. Inspector Cassells: “Two years ago.” The case was dismissed.
