MARRIAGE
. DUDSON—■FAULKNER.
The wedding was celebrated at St. Benedict’s Church, Auckland, on Tuesday last, by the Rev. Father Ormond, of Mr-Sydney Dudson, second son of the late Mr Frank and Mrs Dudson, of Foxton, and Miss Rosa May, daughter of the late Mr Frank and Mrs Faulkner -of Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, England. The bride was attired in a grey blue crepe de chene, grey gorgette hat and blue ospreys and carried a bridal bouquet of pink carnations and violets. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Muriel Faulkner, attired in Saxe blue satin, mole hat sind pink feathers. Mr Percy Castle, a fellow passenger by the Ruahine from London, officiated a?< best man. The bride’s mother was in attendance at the ceremony and wore a blue tailored costume with hat to match. Mr and Mrs Dudson arrived from the north last night and proceeded to the residence of the bridegroom’s mother, where, shortly after, they were welcomed by a number of the bridegroom's friends and entertained at a surprise party/ and presented with J an oak clock.
The bride was accompanied to New Zealand by her mother and sister. «
In i common with Mr Dudson’s many friends, we join in wishing the happy couple health and happiness.
