The local croquet season brought to" a close on Wednesday,j May 3rd, after a most enjoyable period.- -■Mrs Bryant was the win-

In the B grade, Mrs Huntley won Mrs Smith’s trophy with a total of 54 points, Mrs Owen / 47, second, and Mrs Head 32, third. Mrs Pearson Von the Singles han- /- dieap competition after a keen contest. in the final with Mrs Bryant- and o . Mr. Bryant’s trophy. Mrs Owen won the B grade Singles ( thus winning Mrs Bryant’s trophy) • with Mrs Head runner-up. p ’ Mfs Perreau hnd Miss B. Speirs won the Hornblow badges from the A : Levin holders and the / Stewart { .shields'locally.
