CONFERENCE AT WELLINGTON,
Wellington, Last Night.
A general y conference of representatives of district sections of the Post and Telegraph Officers’ Association took place to-dav, to consider the situation created by the refusal of the Government to permit the Association to affiliate with the Alliance f of Labour. The whole of the circumstances which led to the present position have been described from time to time. There was a full attendance of delegates. The business was entirely of a private nature. At the conclusion of the day’s proceedings, the secretary t Mr 1.1. E. Combs) stated that there was nothing to announce to the Press. .
