MEETING OP EXECUTIVE. i . Wellington, Yesterday. A meeting of the Rugby Executive was held this afternoon, Mr Slade occupying the chair. It was decided that affiliated unions be officially notified that the new rules will take effect immediately. Ten reinstatements in Auckland and eight in Napier were approved. The proposed visit of a. New Zealand team to South Africa next season was abandoned.
