The annual meeting of the Licensing Committee will he held in the Courthouse on Wednesday, June 7th, at noon. Nielsen’s dye works, 297, Palmerston North, undertake the dying and cleaning of ladies costumes and gents suits. Prompt attention is given to country order*. On Tuesday next; the Foxton Auctioneering Cov. will hold an unreserved clearing sale of farm implements, etc., on account of a farmer who is leaving the district. The sale will be held at the Mart, Avenue Road, and the list includes a Cambridge roller, set disc harrows, s.f. plough, 2-leaf tyne harrows, Planet jr. one-horse cultivator, spring cart, gig, several sets of harness, military pattern saddle and bridle, cow and horse covers, etc., etc. Everything is in practically new condition, and will be sold without reserve.
