WEDDING
HART—GREEN. A wedding of local interest was celebrated at the South Dunedin Baptist Church on April 12th, by the Rev. Mr Thornton, when Roland Edward, son of Mr and Mrs W. H. Hart, of Foxton, was united to Ivy, fourth daughter of Mrs B. Green, of Waverly Street, Dunedin. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr J. Green, of Invercargill, was attired in white crepe-de-chene, and wore the orthodox veil and orange blossoms, and carried a beautiful bridal bouquet. The bride was attended by her* sister, Miss Ethel Green, as bridesmaid, who was prettily attired in ro\e-coloured crepe-de-chene, with hat to match. After the ceremony a number of relatives and guests were entertained at breakfast in the South Dunedin Bungalow Tea Rooms, where the usual toasts were honoured and felicitous speeches made. Mr and Mrs Hart were the recipients of numerous presents, including several' substantial . cheques. The honeymoon is being spent in the North Island. Mr Hart’s many Foxton friends will wish him and his bride health and prosperity.
