HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. The High Commissioner’s cable, dated Bth instant, reads: — Manila market quiet but steady. J grade, April-June shipments, sold at £35, July-September shipments £34 10s to £34 15s; II quoted at £34 10s. Output from Ist January to 31st March 278,000 bales, against 187,000 for the same time last year. New Zealand market dull, business reported, high, points round about £3l. No interest shown in' shipments. Sellers quote high points, April-Jtme shipments, £32 10s, fair £3l 10s. ■
