On Saturday afternoon there was an attendance of 35 players, when the first round of the Sherwood and Combined trophies were played, also the semi-final of the Walton Trophy.
The results of the first round of the Sherwood Trophy are: —Miss S. Barber 41, Miss Spiers 3!), Miss H. Mackie 40, Miss Owen 37, Miss R. Barber 36, Miss Wankivn 40, Miss Woodruffe 29, Miss Neylou 40, Miss King 31, Miss K. Barber 40, Miss Williams 41, Miss Austin 39, H. Frankland 40 C. Procter 31, C. Francis 50‘ C. T. Shaw 31, N. Ross 50, Y. Burr 41. WALTON TROPHY.
The following is the final in the Walton Trophy Competition :—C. Bryant (i-I0) plays N. Ross (5). The results of the semi-final games in this competition were as follows: —R. MeMurray 40 N. Ross 50, Mrs Moore (ser.) 40 Miss Perreau (5) 30.
