BOWLING.

The last two games in the current round of the Wilford Cup Singles Competition were completed on Thursday and last evening, the results being: —Huntley 30 v. Christie l(i; D. Whibley 22 v. Jno. Ross 21. In the last mentioned game the scores were even, 21 all, on the twenty-first head, the extra head deciding .the game in favour of Whibley. In each of the three, rounds in which Mr Whibley has met an opponent the scores have been even on the twenty-first head, the extra bead deciding the game in his favour. One game was won by default.

There are now seven players left in the competition, their names being:—Walker, Huntley, Pearson, Roore, MeColl, Whibley, Bryant.

The Committee will meet at the pavilion this evening, at 5 o’clock, to draw the next round in the competition.

It is anticipated Levin Club will send five rinks to Foxton on Wednesday next. Members are requested to bring a plate on that date, in rider to assist with the catering arrangements.
