FIRE DISTRICT AND CONSTITUTION OF FIRE BOARD.
FOR THE BOROUGH. MEETING OF RATEPAYERS ON MONDAY. The Mayor (Mr John Chrystall) (‘onvens a meeting of ratepayers to he held in the Town Hall supperroom on Monday next, at 7.30 p.-Ai. to discuss the .proposal to const'* lute Foxton mWife District under tP e Fire Brigades Act. A poll of Ihe ratepayers will betaken at the Town Hall supper-room on Wednesday next, to ascertain the wishes of the ratepayers on the subject. Tn order that all interested should be in possession of the facts before casting their votes for or against the proposal, full particulars will be submitted by various speakers, together with Superintendent Hugo’s estimate of cost and maintenance. It is hoped that all who can make it convenient will attend.
