FESTAL FAIR.

TOWN HALL THURSDAY AND 'FRIDAY OF NEXT WEEK.

The secretary of the Methodist. Trustees (Mr M. Walker) has written inviting the member for the district (Mr Edward Newman) to be present at the opening of the Festal Fair at the Town Hall on Thursday week. Yesterday, Mr Newman replied that he would be pleased to at* tend and open the Fair as requested; Some are still asking when the Fair opens. To those who have a bad memory for dates this plan is ■suggested. The Day School pienie excursion to Ashhurst is on the Wednesday of next week. The Fair opens the day after the school picnic. Also remember there are crowds of attractions, besides well •stocked stalls at the Fair both afternoons and evenings. There are also picture screenings and it costs nothing to attend. Admission is free.
