If the Borough Council provided the rest room, the only money required would he for the paths and steps. The Chairman said the paths and steps were necessary, and .an allocation would have to be made for this purpose. A general discussion look place re allocating grounds for various .sports on Easton Park. Mr Perreau said he had been invited to attend the Council meeting to discuss this question on Monday, The Chairman said the land had given for the benefit of the whole public, and while the Society , was only concerned with beautifying it, provision should be made to include all branches of sport without distinction. The Park was then inspected, and it appeared that there was ample room for (ennis and croquet at the north-west end, provided the proposed shrubbery was eliminated from the scheme. This would not interfere with the football area, and provided only two insted of four tennis courts were provided. It was decided to plant all the boundary fences with a live hedge.
