BOROUGH FINANCE.
TREASURER’S REPORT
At Monday night’s Council meeting the Borough Treasurer reported as follows: —
During the month of February the sum of £4,427 9s 8d was received, and has been placed to the credit of accounts as under: —District fund account £423 19s Bd, cemetery account £3 10s; water and drainage loan account £4,000. The ledger balances at the 28th February, 1922, were as follows: —Imprest cash account £lO, gasworks £361 4s Bd, general £551 2s, hospital and charitable njd £8 2s sd, interest; £494 3s 7d, reserves £6l 15s lOd, town hall pictures £2O 6s 7d, all at debit, a total of £1,507 5s Id. The accounts at credit were: Cemetery account £93'4s 5d,. contractors’ deposits £364, reconstruction- £1,176 2s 4d, sanitation- £126 12s 2d, town hall £241 8s Id, water and drainage £2,761 16s fid, library £79 9s 7d a total of £482 135,1 d. ’ .
