A team from Terrace End Club visited Foxton yesterday afternoon Ip play for the Manson and Barr Cup. 1 The condition of the green was not all that could be desired, and a breeze made the bias somewhat uncertain. Foxton was again successful in defending their right to the trophy, the resultant scores being 21 —27. The local rink commenced by notching 3, and on? the third head added fi, the fourth head seeing the scores at —2. Foxton lead throughout the game, most of the scores being above 1. . On the If)th head Terrace End scored a 5, when the scores stood 2fi—2o, after which each team added one to the score. Townee End scored on one more, head/than the. home team.
