FESTAL FAIR.

TOWN HALL, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY, MARCH 30th & 31st. “Are you not making a great mistake by admitting everyone free to the Festal -Fair? ' Think of the nmmint you would take at the doors,” was the query and opinion of someone speaking to the organiser. The organiser smiled as he replied with a question: “Do shop keepers charge people who desire to enter their establishments to do business?” “No! of course not,” answered someone. “Well,” said the organiser, “we wish to do business with the public and we are not charging them ad-., mittanee to our stalls.” The opinion of the organiser is that to charge admittance to the Festal Fair appears as though the promoters desire to squeeze the last sixpence out of the public. Whilst the Festal Fair is being run to aid the funds of the Methodist Church School Hall Building, the “make all yon can out of the public” spirit is not in existance. Here wil he found a true marketing idea : 1/- value of goods for every ~\/- used in purchasing. \/- worlh of amusement for every 1/so invested. The Festal Fair is free for all, because it is a straight fair business plane of marketing devoid of all “begging” spirit.
