Saturday night’s programmespromisos to Ijp one o£ flip best ever shown at the Town Hall. The story is one of tremendous dramatic appeal, and with the magnificent eastassembled for its interpretation, it reaches a degree of intensity seemingly impossible of screen attainment. The picture was adapted from Sir Gilbert Parker’s novel, “The Translation of a Savage,” and i.-. declared to combine a deeply appealing story with lavish and artistic settings.

On Wednesday night, “Beau Revel” will be shown. This is an unusual story of a father who disapproves of his son’s fiancee, and sets out to compromise her. He finds himself caught in the toils instead, and the climax comes as a surprise to everyone concerned.
