THE WEATHER.
■ The Government Meteorologist wires at noon to-day as follows: The indications are for westerly winds strong to gale, and backing by west to south after about 24 to 36 hours. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled. Rain probable. Barometer unsteady. Seas heavy, tides good swell.
