A match for the Nye Ferns was played last evening, the challenging rink being skipped by Barr. In the absence of Stevenson and Huntley, Heasman and Nye played for the holders. Seventeen heads only were played, owing to the failing light, and the result was a win for the challengers by one point. The following are the particulars: Challengers."" Holders. Roore Heasman Pearson Nye F. Whibley Smith Barr (s) 15 Jno. Ross (s) 14 Weather permitting, the third l'ound of the Triangular Contest will he played at Shannon to-morrow. The teams will be selected at the green at 1.15 to-morrow. Members not present- at that time will not be included in those selected from.
