VALMARIE ASHORE.
OFF FAREWELL SPIT. Wellington, Last Night. Word was received in Wellington this morning that the schooner Valmarie, en route with a hardwood cargo from Grafton, is ashore west of Farewell Spit, with eight feet of water in her hold.
