MAGISTRATE S COURT.
MONTHLY SITTING. The ordinary monthly sitting of the Magistrate’s Court was held in the Court House yesterday morning, before Mr J. L. Stout, S.M. ILLEGALLY ON LICENSED PREMISES. Charles Andrews, Harry Procter, and George Gupwell were chaffed with being illegally on the licensed premises of the Family Hotel on the 12th February. • Constable O’Donoghue said that on Sunday, the 12th February, about 5 p.m., he went into the Family Hotel, and found the three accused in the bar parlour. All admitted that they went there to get drink, but there was no sign of them having been served. Convicted and fined £2 each, with costs.
Johnstone Rowntree, similarly charged with being on the licensed premises of the Manawatu Hotel on the 12th February, was convicted and fined £2, with costs. The ease of Charles Walbutton, charged with being illegally on the licensed premises of the Family Hotel on the 21st January, was adjourned.

Blanche, £l3 2s od, costs £3 10s, order for possession if rent not paid within 14 days; Borough Council v. J. A. Brews!on, £5 18s fid, costs £1 10s fid; R. N. Speirs v. W. J. Roberts, £l7 7s Od, costs £2 17s Od; E. J. Martin v. J. A. Brewerton, £fi, costs £1 10s fid; Foxton Co-op. v. A. Morgan, £8 4s lOd, costs £1 10s fid.
.JUDGMENT SUMMONSES. A. Heasman v. C. Aldridge, £6 17s, ordered to pay within 7 days, in default 7 days’ imprisonment with hard labour; G. G. Kelly v. G. Gnunwold, ordered to pay within 7 days, in default 7 days’ imprisonment with hard labour.
