CROQUET.
STEWART SHIELDS. A challenge match for the Stewart Shields was played on the local croquet courts recently. The holders, Mrs Perreau and Miss B. Spoil’s, again defended their right to the trophies against Mrs Pearson and Mrs Healey,- the result being a win by a margin of 21 points. SINGLES MATCHES.
The following are the results of matches played in the “A” Singles competition:—-Miss B. Speirs (scr.) 26, Mrs Bryant (3) 17; Mrs Healey (scr.) 26, Mrs Ball (scr.) 20; Mrs Bryant (scr), 26, Mrs Healey (scr.) 20.
