The following are the results o£ Ladder matches played last week: — T. J. Rowley (challenger) 50, C. Francis 41; N. Ross (challenger 50, C. T. Shaw 20; N. Ross 43, R, McMurray 50; Dr. Wylie 50, C. Francis 48, W. Ross 50, R. Shaw 47; Miss E. Owen 34, Miss G. Neylon 40. „ A meeting of the Committee seLj up for the purpose of considering the holding of a dance will be held in All Saints’ schoolroom to-night. At the general meeting held on Tuesday night, the following new rules were adopted:—(l) Points matches to be advantage. (2) The Match Committee reserves the right to place a new member anywhere on the Ladder they think fit. (3) The Match Committee shall consist of thi’ee members, ladies or men. A match will be played against Longburn, at Longburn on Saturday, 11th inst. The team representing Foston will be:— Men.—Bryant, Jackson, Shaw, Ross, Wylie, D. Robinson. Ladies.—Miss McMurray, Mrs McMurray, Miss McCormick, Mrs Moore, Miss G. Robinson, Miss I. Robinson. , Emergencies : C. Francis, Miss C. Reard. Any member unable to play notify the Secretary not later than noon on Friday. ' _ Cars will leave the courts at 45 o’clock.
