TOWN HALL PICTURES.
A sensational and thrilling horse race, in which the jockey on the favourite is bumped *off a furlong from home, forms the climax of “Lord and Lady Algy,” ftie six-reel feature with Tom Moore in the leading role, to he screened to-night at the Town Hall. Lord Algy had placed a fortune on Dewdrop, despite his dad’s warning over betting. Lady Algy had hedged for the family, and was hacking Flicka-maroo. Love was at stake! Would Dewdrop beat Flickamaroo? Would Lord Algy win over Lady Algy? The day of"the race dawned bright; Jethro, Dewdrop’s jockey, staggered into the paddock dead drunk. They’re off! Then into the straight, Flieker-maroo and Dewdrop race, neck and neck. The crowd in the stands are wild with excitement. What wins?
