UNION SECRETARY CONVICTED
Greymouth, Jan. 30. William Balderstone, secretary of the Blackball Miners’ Union, was convicted to-day and ordered to pay costs on a charge of using indecent language at the Stillwater railway station on December 6th to Frederick Charles Elliott, manager of the Blackball Coal Company.
