STATUS OF IRISHMEN
CONSIDERATION AT CONFERENCE. Paris, Jan. 25. The Irish Congress is debating the problem of the nationality of Irishmen living in the British Dominions. An Australian delegate emphatically declared he was'Australian first and Irish second. A South African expressed himself similarly. A delegate representing Irishmen living in Scotland said they were Irish citizens living in Scotland, not British citizens. The congress went into secret session to continue the discussion.
