Roulette dances are causing much amusement at a' West End night club. Many of the square wooden blocks of which the dance-lloor is composed are marked with numbers. Upon the wall hangs a large clock, round the edge of which arc marked some (10 numbers. The "music of the dance stops suddenly in the manner of '‘'musical chairs," and the dancers must slap at whichever square they arc. on. At the same time the electric motor which lias caused an indicator to spin round the dial is stopped. The indicator slowly comes to rest, and the dancers on the block whose number it indicates are given a prize.
